Roughin' it for a Reason
Roughin’ it for a Reason is a campout fundraiser in support of the Connect Campaign to build a new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek. Stay connected all night long by tuning in online throughout the evening for campfire music, activities for kids, a bonfire cooking demonstration and much, much more!
The results are in!
On September 24th, Celebrity camper Frankie "Flowers" Ferragine was joined virtually by 35 campers in their own backyards to help raise funds for the new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek. Together, they raised $40,000!
Campers asked for pledges to either camp in cold or comfort! Some looked for luxury items to help make their night as comfortable as possible, while others lost items depending on how many donations were raised. To find out the story of each camper, visit the event website here.
